Mr. Njundu Fatty, CEO/Managing Director of Supersonicz The Microfinance, has lot of expertise in the field of technology, banking and finance and project management in both the private and public sectors. His vast experience over the past two decades include:
- Managing Director of Lasting Solutions Limited, a renown and leading ICT service provider in The Gambia,
- Consultant with the World Bank on IFMIS implementation for the Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning, Government of the Gambia from 2006 to Jun 2013.
- Founding/pioneering Head of Technology of Guaranty Trust Bank from 2001 to 2005,
- Systems Administrator of Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation from 1995 to 2001 and
- Database Consultant for Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for both the 2001 and 2006 Presidential & National Assembly Elections
Mr. Njundu Fatty is an IT Expert with over two decades of experience in computerized information systems design, implementation and administration. Mr. Fatty graduated in 1999 with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, UK and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from Nagpur University, India in 1994. He has lots of additional professional certifications including Microsoft and Alvarion.
Currently, we found Njundu’s expertise in IT, Project Management and Banking & Finance extremely valuable to Supersonicz. He is helping us to establish ourselves as a premier institution in customer friendliness leveraging on technology.

MRS FATOUMATA SAHO-CHAM
Head of Finance and Administration
Madam Fatoumata Saho-Cham has been involved in micro-credit and savings schemes since 1999 when she joined Gambia Teachers Union Cooperative Credit Union as Accounts Clerk. She steadily rose through the ranks to become Finance Manager in 2008, a position she held on till joining Supersonicz in March 2015. Fatoumata has lots of financial management skills in the micro-finance sector.
Madam Saho-Cham completed GCE Ordinary Level from Gambia Muslim High School in 1995 and GCE Advanced Level from Saint Augustines High School in 1997. She also has a Diploma in Association of Accounting Technicians in 2003. Currently, Fatoumata is pursuing a BSc Degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of The Gambia. Fatoumata also attended the following short-term advanced specialised courses:
- World Council Credit Union Conference in Barcelona in 2009.
- WOCCU Africa SACCO Technical Congress in Banjul in 2008.
MR. MOMODOU JALLOW
Head of Compliance & Audit
Mr. Momodou Jallow is the Head of Compliance & Audit. He is ACCA qualified and has substantial knowledge and experience in Finance and Auditing. Prior to joining Supersonicz, he worked with PKF Accountants and Consultants as Senior Audit from 15th October 2013 to 08th March 2016 and from 06th June 2011 to 15th August 2013 as Audit Trainee. After successful completing a course in High Teacher’s Certificate(HTC – Mathematics and Science) at The Gambia College in September 2005, Momodou served as Mathematics Teacher at Kinderdorf Bottrop Senior School and Kabafita Upper Basic School fromSeptember 2008 to June 2011 and September 2005 to June 2008, respectively .
